1998's BLADE is best above others-
(forget the names, but the 'Ice Skating Uphill' part is accurate for my Analysis)
- daytime settings/nighttime settings
- vamps are actually threatening
- story paces well
- subtle humor
- memorable,smart dialogue
- solid choreography (not CGed up)
- good display of weaponry/skills intellect & not all gunfire
- emotional depth (mother-Ms Brooks father-Whistler)
- no unnecessary love interest with Dr Karen Jenson
- Deacon Frost-solid villain (you really learn his personality)
- Blade's outfit (no red; ample metal) Good display of body when needed
- amazing opener, thrilling conclusion
- DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS!!
how Blade actually gets his money, where Dr Jensons associate went, Quinn's replaced hand, Blade smiles n' smirks every so often - the music
I can stop right there.
